Submissions to the Test Set of the SemEval 2021 Task 6 Shared Task is Now Open

The SemEval 2021 Task 6 Shared Task has opened submissions to the test set, and participants are invited to submit their system outputs by the submission deadline. The SemEval 2021 Task 6 is focused on “Detection of Propaganda Techniques in News Articles.” The task aims to identify propaganda techniques used in news articles and classify them into different categories such as Loaded Language, Name Calling, and Repetition, among others.

The task has a two-phase evaluation process: the first phase was held in January, where participants were provided with a training dataset to develop their systems, and the second phase will be held in March, where participants will be given a test dataset to evaluate their systems.

The SemEval 2021 Task 6 Shared Task provides an excellent opportunity for participants to contribute to the growing field of propaganda detection and classification in news articles. We wish all participants the best of luck and look forward to the results of the evaluation phase.Read more details: https://propaganda.math.unipd.it/semeval2021task6/index.html
